Participating Author Overview
If you would like to participate in the 6th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival, please be sure to review the Participating Author Benefits and Requirements below and click here to complete the Application. Please keep in mind that your Application must be received no later than November 30, 2024 to be selected. It is suggested that you submit your application because slots fill up quickly due to the popularity of the Event. If selected, you will receive and Acceptance Email (November 15th - December 15th) and invoice for the $75 Participation Fee which must be paid no later than December 31, 2024.
Participating Author Benefits
- 1 6-foot table with 2 chairs (Author must provide table covering)
- Author's Picture & Bio will be displayed on the San Antonio African American Book Festival Website
- Author's Picture & Bio will be shared on the San Antonio African American Book Festival Facebook Page
- Author's Picture & Bio will be included in the Official Souvenir Book that is distributed to Attendees
- Author's Name will be listed on the Official SAAABF T-Shirt (T-Shirt is free for all Participating Authors)
Participating Author Requirements
- Authors must submit their applications no later than November 30, 2024
- Payment of the $75 Participation Fee must be made no later than December 31, 2024
- Authors must have physical inventory of books available to sell at Event
- Authors must have capability to accept Electronic Payments as there is no ATM on site
