Would you like to Participate in The 6th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival?

The San Antonio African American Book Festival (SAAABF) was created to provide an exclusive platform for African American Authors to present and promote their work while encouraging Black Literacy. Reading is one of the most important habits that contributes to success in adults and children. We truly believe that a community that reads together succeeds together.

The three founding principles of the San Antonio African American Book Festival are:
Celebrating the Power of Black Literature;
Reinforcing the Fact that Representation Matters and
Encouraging Black Economics

The 6th Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025 at Second Baptist Community Center (3320 E. Commerce) from Noon - 5:00pm. The event is actively promoted and marketed and is currently one of the largest African American Book Festivals in Texas. We have hosted hundreds of Authors throughout the United States and thousands of attendees over the past five years.
