The San Antonio African American Book Festival (SAAABF) is currently accepting quotes for the products & services we use to facilitate this event for OUR Community. If you are (or know of) a local Black Business Owner, please review the Requests for Quotes (RFQs) listed below to determine if there is an opportunity for you to become an Official Vendor of the San Antonio African American Book Festival.

One of the very important purposes of creating the SAAABF is to encourage Black Economics (particularly in San Antonio), so we are actively searching for local African American vendors to provide the Products & Services listed below. Although all Black-Owned Business owners are encouraged to submit quotes, members of
Black Business San Antonio, African American Chamber of Commerce of San Antonio, Inc. or Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce will be given preferential priority when awarding contracts. If you are a current member of these organizations, please include that in your email.

If you are selected as a vendor, you have the option of donating your services in lieu of one of our Business/ Organization Sponsorship Packages. Vendor Selection, Contracting and Payment Details
  • All quotes must include Business Name, Contact Information and Pricing for Quantity listed in RFQ.
  • Vendor Selection (upon review and discussion of quotes) will occur no later than December 31, 2023.
  • Selected vendors must adhere to all Contracted Details, specifically Quality, Price and Delivery.
  • Contract for services must be signed by both parties in order for purchase to take place.
  • Contracted vendors must provide a receipt of services, detailed invoice and W-9 prior to payment.

Table Rental

Item:
  • 40-60 6-foot rectangular tables with Delivery/Pickup service

Specifications:
  • Quantity of 40 - 60 6-foot rectangular tables
  • Delivery of tables 1 day prior to the Event
  • Pickup of tables after the Event

Program Books

Item:
  • 200 - 300 Program Booklets (file will be provided)

Specifications:
  • Quantity of 200 - 300 booklets with 32 - 40 pages, 11X17
  • Current Details: Color - White Gloss 100#/ B&W - White Cougar 70#
  • Will need quotes for: 1. All Color Pages and 2. Half Color/Half B&W
  • Must be able to deliver within 2-3 weeks of order placement
  • Sample of Past Program Books for comparison is available upon request

  • Must be able to deliver on Day of Event (no later than 5:00pm)
